The Practical Dental Learning Center offers a complete continuum of dental implant courses.  It is recommended to start off with implant Module 1, the comprehensive course, to get you up and running as a dental implant surgeon.  Then work your way up through the series to learn more complex concepts and procedures.

Implant Supported and Retained Overdentures - Surgery and Restoration for the Edentulous Patient

 

Learn the details on how to plan and execute treatment for your completely edentulous patient who desires an implant supported or implant retained overdenture restoration. Diagnosis and Treatment of Peri-Implantitis

 

Dental implant therapy has become the standard of care.  However a very high percentage of patients develop the signs and symptoms of peri-implantitis.   Learn a systematic approach to case selection and patient preparation prior to dental implant placement, hygiene and maintenance for your dental implant patient, and finally the diagnosis and treatment of peri-implantitis.

This program is designed for dentists who are actively placing implants and would like to enhance their surgical skills particularly with regard to regenerative and sinus lift

protocols.  Perform procedures on fresh-frozen cadavers to expand your knowledge and refine your surgical skills.

Advanced Diagnostic Concepts: CBCT

Advanced Cone Beam CT Interpretation

 

With the adoption of cone beam CT imaging the productivity and efficiency of a dental practice increases along with career satisfaction. However with such technology the dental practitioner is required to manage significantly more anatomical information than with 2D imaging. A more comprehensive understanding of interpreting CBCT anatomy and pathoses will be a significant aid in the clinician’s ability to review a CBCT volume for significant findings.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Registrants unable to attend may obtain a 50% refund by written notification to the PDL Center no later than 21 days prior to the course start date.  Cancellations or ‘no shows’ less than 21 days prior to the start date are not eligible for a refund.   Cancellations for separate sessions / weekends of the course will not be refunded. In case the PDL Center cancels an individual session, that session will be rescheduled at a time approved by course participants.  PDL Center recommends that you do not make air travel arrangements prior to receiving a receipt of payment or confirmation. PDL Center is not responsible for any travel-related costs.  The PDL Center is not responsible for other expenses incurred by the registrant.

The PDL Center reserves the right to cancel or postpone any course due to unforeseen circumstances or if attendance minimum is not met. In the event of cancellation or postponement, the PDL Center will fully refund registration fees but is not responsible for any related costs or expenses to participants, including cancellation fees assessed by hotels, airlines, rental car or travel agencies.
